Big School Birdwatch

The Big School Birdwatch runs from the 6th January to 20th February 2023 and is an educational activity that gets students closer to nature. All our classes will be taking part this year across the term.
National Storytelling Week

On Monday 30 January the week kicks off with listening to stories and inspiring students to becoming young storytellers themselves
Drumming Lessons

This term the Elementary classes will be learning drumming with Upbeat Music and Arts. The Lower Elementary will be learning African Drumming and the Upper Elementary will be learning Taiko drumming.
On the last session (13/2/23) they will perform to parents at the end of the school day. All parents are welcome to watch.
Chinese New Year

On Friday 20 January students will learn about the Chinese New Year. It signals the end of the winter period and is a sign of new growth to come. The Chinese New Year is determined by the Chinese lunar calendar, which means that the official date changes each year. This year is the Year of the Rabbit.
Safer Internet Day

This year's theme is "Together for a better internet". It takes place this year on Tuesday 7 February.
Children's Mental Health Week

Takes place the week of Monday 6 February. This year's theme is "lets connect" and focuses on the importance of having meaningful and strong connections with family, friends and community.
Welsh Language Music Day

Friday 10 February is Welsh Language Music Day celebrates all forms of Welsh Language music.
