St Davids Day
On Wednesday 1 March, join us in celebrating Welsh heritage on St David's day. Students are invited to come in Welsh traditional dress or wearing Welsh sporting tops. They are welcome to simply wear red or yellow if they prefer! (Lower elementary please be mindful that there is a forest school trip on the day).
World Book Day
Designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, World Book Day is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. This year World Book Day falls on Thursday 2 March, Students are invited to come dressed as any character from a book.
International Womens Day
WD is a global day taking place on 8 March, celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
British Science Week- 13 March
This year's theme is "Connections". Nearly all innovations in science, technology, engineering and maths are built on connections between people; two (or more) heads are better than one, after all! But as well as exploring the importance and joy in connections between individual scientists, research groups and institutions, students will discover the different ways connections appear across all areas of science.
Red Nose Day
n Friday 17 March students are invited to come to school dressed as any of the Mr Men and Little Miss Characters! We will be collecting donations for Comic Relief.
International Day of Happiness

Monday 20 March marks the UN International Day of Happiness. We can create a happier and kinder world together by adopting simple, daily practices.

Wednesday 22 March marks the start of Ramadan, subject to the moon sighting.
Our last day of term will be 29th March before we break up for the Easter holidays. Students will learn the significance of Easter to Christians.
