Cardiff Montessori School (CMS) relocated to  Llanishen in November 2021.

CMS opened in 2016 in Insole court, Llandaff. At the time we had just 12 children in the primary school and the majority of students in our nursery. The school has gone from strength to strength each year and has outgrown the existing location. CMS has become a leading provider of Montessori primary provision in the UK, attracting staff from across the world and students from across the UK.

Despite closing the nursery provision in September 2019, we remained limited by the available space. We were therefore delighted to have secured a new building for our school. The building is centrally located in Cardiff in the area of Llanishen. The whole of the school is on one level allowing children better access and free flow around the building. All of our classes have direct access to the outdoors. This access to fresh air has always been important and never more after the recent pandemic.

Our new site also allows us to have a hall for the children, a playground, an intervention room and space for our secondary students.
